       BUY IT

Corgi's fabulous 1 Squadron set comprises Hurricane Mk1, Meteor F8, Hunter FGA9 and Harrier GR3, all 1/72 scale and resplendant in 1 Sqn markings. All the liveries are superb and the set is one of the most under-rated items in the Corgi Aviation Archive range. Though 2,000 sets were initially produced approximately half were split into individual boxes and sold singly, some as de-certificated examples. As such the 4 plane set is becoming very hard to source as there are most likely well under a thousand in existence. Box undersides have the odd crease and usual light scuffs and abrasions but nothing that detracts badly. The models liveries are all superb and have to be seen to be appreciated. The price means you get 4 rare models for under 25 pounds each plus postage.
