  Corgi Aviation Archive Legends AA32409 is this excellent 1/72 scale model of BAe Harrier GR.Mk 1 XV762 in the livery of 233 OCU, , RAF Wittering, England, 1971.

In legends packaging with fixed lowered undercarriage and stand on diorama base in a plastic blister.

The Harrier was the world's first practical operational V/STOL strike fighter and was developed for six years' experience with the Hawker P.1127/Kestrel series of demonstrators. Powered by a single Rolls-Royce BS Pegasus 102 engine, the first Harrier GR.1 flew on 28th December 1967, entering service on 1 April 1969 with the Harrier Conversion Unit, which formed at RAF Wittering, Cambs, This was renamed No.233 Operational Conversion Unit in 1971 and became the school for all Harrier pilots to learn on the type.
