36706 Corgi   Junkers Ju 88A - Operation Steinbock, Luftwaffe (1,500 ONLY) £ 0.00
      Out of stock
Junkers Ju 88A based at Melsbroek in Feb 1944. From here it formed part of a 474 strong force (named Operation Steinbock) which Hitler instructed Goering to use to attack London, as retaliation for the devastastating 1,000 bomber raid on Hamburg. In a 5 month period the Luftwaffe lost 329 of these bombers, which had been intended to be used against any Allied invasion of France. Mint and boxed limited edition of only 1,500 pieces. Excellent model which really does have to be seen to be appreciated in mottled camouflage livery.
